Today I saw the rainbow.

At first it was pure gold.

the more I looked, the

prettier it became.

Blue, Green, Pink, Violet,

All were mixed.

I wanted to touch it,

but held my distance.

I wanted to follow it

to the End,

where I knew there was

a Pot of Gold.

I stayed away,

Because once a rainbow

is understood,

it dissolves,

and the beauty of it's Soul

is never seen again.

I'd hate to dissolve such beauty...
